What a scammer wants
- Your online-bank password or one-time code.
- A transfer that you approve yourself.
- Remote access to your phone or computer.
- Your card number through a copied bank page.
What to do
- Do not use the link or continue the call.
- Open the bank app yourself or call the number printed on your card.
- Say, “I received a possible fraud message. Please check my account.”
- Never move money to a “safe account.”
